It is easy to have an abundance of garden produce during the peek summer months, but what about the rest of the year?
Selvi will show you how to sow, plant and harvest vegetables in order to get a fresh supply all year long, even during the winter months. You will learn about successional sowing, choosing the right vegetable varieties for different seasons and the use of protected cropping to prolong the growing season. You will get a calendar detailing each months’ garden activities and participants will also learn about keeping the soil fertile and maximising their growing space to get the most out of it.
